CLIF BAR

Working in Brand Marketing at CLIF Bar and Company was a fantastic learning experience—budgets, product innovation, promotions, profits and losses, positioning, copy, financial analysis, coupons, packaging, syndicated data reporting—and offered a foundation in my understanding of general business management and strategic marketing.

While there, I worked to support the Luna Bar and Clif Kid brands. I owned the analysis of the brand’s competitive and consumption data and was instrumental in the definition of brand positioning and market strategies. I managed brand creative assets including art direction and project management for promotions, packaging changes, and significant marketing campaign assets (including digital and social media). I led the cross-functional marketing efforts to launch a new product including nationwide field marketing activations in essential markets, digital communications across web, social, and public relations, and in-store communications. I was integral to the company-wide content redesign and responsible for editorial ideation.
